Hello Everybody,
First of all I would like to thank Roberto Ricca for organizing
and running this contest on high standards. I hope we can
participate again in this well thought and precisely ran Italian
tipping game in years to come.
This was my fifth year in the competition and because I am the one
who is writing this introduction, naturally this year was the most
successful. I was placed 26th, 14th, 34th, 11th and first. I am
especially happy for having the best score ever, which taking into
other players' scores is exceptional. I did not believe until the
last 4 or 5 rounds that I can win this and the victory almost
escaped me at the end. But I had a feeling for the last round's
results as it also happened during the season many times.
I would like to write few words about myself: My name is
Cseresznyak Csaba (this is the Hungarian way of writing a name:
Surname first, Christian name second.). I am 31 years old; I was
born in Hungary in a city called Gyor. This is where I live with
my family. My wife's name is Monika we are married for 5 years; my
4 year old son's name is Csaba Adam, my 1 year old daughter's name
is Csenge Lilla. Few words about my work: I am self employed; I
have couple of small companies and businesses where I do
information technology and accounting. I have PhDs in information
technology and economics.
I love playing and watching football, although I only have the
chance to play soccer on amateur level and only once a week. I
support the local team Gyori ETO FC (www.eto.hu) It is a 100 year
old club this year and they won three times the Hungarian
Championship and four times the Hungarian cup. I was 4 or 5 years
old when my father took me to my first ETO game, since then I try
to make it there every so often. I was there when they won the
1982 and 1983 championships and I was there when they had to play
to stay in the first division on 1996 which was the lowest point
in their history.
This is unfortunately all I can say about Hungarian football,
there is not much more worthwhile. In Europe the English Premier
League is my all time favourite. And then my favourites are the
Italian, the Spanish and German championships. I do follow these
competitions, live broadcasts and highlights on a Hungarian sport
TV channel called SPORT1 (www.sport1tv.hu) week by week. Obviously
I find everything I need for the tipping competition on the
internet as well, for example on the BetBase info page
(www.betbase.info).
Once again thanks for Roberto and the other players for the game
and thank you for letting me win. We will meet again in the 2005
competition where what else could be my aim: To defend my title;
win again, what never has been done before.
