Ciao a tutti,
mi chiamo Pierfrancesco, ho 39 anni e vivo a Parma.
Dopo 7 anni di partecipazione, è per me veramente un
onore (ed un sogno) compilare questa pagina.
Nei precedenti anni avevo ottenuto diversi podi
settimanali, ma non ero mai riuscito a vincere una
tappa, mentre nella classifica generale ero sempre
entrato nei primi 30 ma solo una volta nei primi 10.
Il mio obiettivo di quest'anno era quello di riuscire
finalmente a vincere una tappa e di entrare ancora
nei primi 10 della classifica generale, mentre la
vittoria del campionato era per me un sogno di
difficile realizzazione.
La stagione era cominciata molto male, dopo 4 settimane
avevo circa 150 punti di ritardo della vetta e così,
ancora una volta, il sogno di vincere il campionato
sembrava irrealizzabile.
A partire dalla 5a giornata ho però trovato una
incredibile continuità di risultati che mi ha portato,
in sole 7 settimane, ad entrare nei primi 10 della
classifica generale, con un distacco di meno di 50
punti del vertice (questa è una buona notizia per
tutti, non è importante se si parte in ritardo o
con brutti risultati, in questo gioco tutto è possibile).
Due settimane dopo ho collezionato una doppia "medaglia
di legno", 4o di tappa e 4o in classifica.
La competizione nei primi 10 posti della classifica è
però durissima (i miei complimenti a tutti i partecipanti)
e così mi ci sono volute altre 7 settimane per salire
sul podio (3o di tappa e 2o in classifica generale).
4 settimane dopo il sogno comincia a diventare realtà,
per la prima volta nella mia vita raggiungo il primo
posto in classifica: guardando ai singoli risultati di
tappa, a questo punto della stagione ho solo un podio
e 2 quarti posti, con nessun'altra settimana a bonus,
ma ho ben 6 risultati fra il decimo ed il ventesimo di
posto, a conferma che la continuità è stata la chiave
del mio successo.
La settimana successiva Fab&Fil Duo mi hanno risorpassato,
ma due settimane dopo (27a giornata) grazie ad un buon
6o posto di tappa sono risalito al vertice: la sfida
con Fab&Fil Duo e gli altri concorrenti ai vertici
della classifica è stata durissima, ma alla terz'ultima
giornata ho coronato il mio obiettivo dell'anno, ho
vinto la tappa e guadagnato un netto vantaggio su tutti
gli altri inseguitori (il secondo in classifica, Corrado
Cussigh, era distaccato di 60 punti).
A questo punto era ormai chiaro che la vittoria finale
era molto vicina, e nelle due tappe ho giocato di
conserva cercando di non prendere nessun rischio.
La chiave per il successo è stata comunque la continuità
di risultati, con 6 delle ultime 10 settimane nei primi
20 della classifica di tappa; guardando all'intera
stagione ho realizzato una vittoria di tappa, 4
piazzamenti a bonus e 15 piazzamenti nei primi 20 (o
forse 16, quando vi scrivo non conosco ancora i risultati
dell'ultima tappa, in cui sono comunque andato molto bene).
A questo punto è ora di iniziare i ringraziamenti: prima
di tutto a Roberto per la perfetta organizzazione e la
grande disponibilità (oltre che per l'idea originale),
sperando che il suo amore per il "gioco più bello del
mondo" possa sopravvivere ai difficili momenti che il
calcio italiano sta vivendo.
Uno speciale ringraziamento anche al "cuginastro" Marco
Cavallini, uno dei giocatori storici del CP, per avermi
introdotto a questo gioco e per la speciale amicizia
che ci lega.
E questo mi porta al capitolo degli amici, che dentro
il CP sono tanti, per cui spero di non dimenticare
nessuno : prima di tutti il gruppo dei parimigiani,
con Michele Vecchi, Alberto Mussini, Nicola Pelizzi e
Francesco Amadei, ed infine il carissimo "toscanaccio
doc" Marco Fiaschi.
Il mio sincero augurio per tutti loro è di vincere
il CP2007, perchè altrimenti per loro i lunedì
cominceranno ad essere molto pesanti, specialmente
per quelli di loro che tifano per la squadra di
calcio "sbagliata", vero Michele e Alberto?

questi sono tempi duri, ma torneremo più forti di
prima, perchè un mito non muore mai !!

Hello folks,
my name is Pierfrancesco, I'm 39 years old and I live in
Parma, in the north of Italy.
After 7 years of participation, it is really an honour for
me to edit this page.
In the previous years I ended up with several weekly podiums
but I never succeeded in winning a week, while in terms of
overall standings I always end up in the first 30s but only
once in the best 10 positions.
My goal for this year was to win a week and to have a good
position in the overall standings, while the victory in the
championship was only a dream!
I started the season very badly, after 4 weeks I was 150
points behind the leader, and so once again, the final victory
seemed to be only a dream.
Starting from the 5th week, I found an incredible continuity
of results than took me, in only 7 weeks, into the first
10th of the overall standings with less than 50 points to
recover from the top (this is a good news for all the
participants, no matter if you start later or with bad results,
everything is possible in this game).
Two weeks later I gained a double 'wood medal', being 4th in
the week and 4th in the overall standing.
The competition at the top is very challenging (my compliments
to all the participants) and so it took me other 7 weeks to
reach the podium (3rd in the week and 2nd in the overall).
4 weeks later the dream started to become reality, for the very
first time in my life I was at the top of the overall standing:
looking backward to my weekly results, I had only 1 podium, 2
'wood medals' and no other weeks in bonus, but I had 6 results
between the 10th and the 20th position, meaning that continuity
rather than single results, was the key to success for me.
Unfortunately, the following week Fab&aFil Duo took again the
leadership, but 2 weeks later (27th week) I ended up with a
good 6th position and I raised again to the top with a very
small advantage; the competition with Fab&Fil and with the
other top seeded players was very hard, but the 32nd week I
reached my yearly goal, I succeeded in winning a week and I
gained 60 points of advantage versus Corrado Cussigh, the 2nd
in the overall standing.
At that point it was clear for me that the final victory was
very close, and I decided to try to administer the advantage
without taking any risk.
The secret behind the victory was the continuity of results,
especially in the last weeks, when I was 6 times out of 10
in the top 20th of the week.
Looking at the overall season, I won a week, I was 4 time in
the top10 and 15 times in the top 20 of the week (I'm writing
these notes before knowing the results of the last week, maybe
I have got the 16th result in the top 20 of the season).
Now it is time to thanks Roberto for the perfect organisation
of the game (and for the original idea) hoping that his passion
and love for the `best game in the world` could survive to the
difficult moment that Italian football is facing.
A special thanks also to Marco Cavallini, one of the historical
players of this game, that entered me in this amazing competition
on the year 2000 and that is more than a friend for me.
And this took me to the `friend chapter`: it is no easy to remember
all the friends that are playing to Concorso Pronostici, I hope not
to forgot anyone: first of all the `Parma group` with Michele Vecchi,
Alberto Mussini, Nicola Pelizzi and Francesco Amadei, and last but
not least my dear friend Marco Fiaschi from Tuscany.
My sincere wish for all these friends is to be the winner next year,
because otherwise Mondays will be very hard for them, especially for
those who support the `wrong` football team, like Michele and
Alberto.

The last point is for all my friends of the virtual community of
